I'm Joe, I have a 91 Nissan 240sx. I'm building my second Turbo set up for it at the moment.

I also have a VR6 GTI that will be supercharged once the 240 is done.

Im Mark West, the brewmaster of Boostaholic.

I was smart and got married to I dont have any cool cars anymore

My first Turbo car was a 96 Nissan 240sx with a 3037 slapped on the KA24DE(T).

In total I have owned 9 240sx's, 1 300zx, 2 WRX's, 1 Impreza RS, and current beater and soon to be ultimate sleeper my All-Trac Camary with a 3SGTE.

Still up in the air as to my next car, but as I just bought a place to call home it will have a wait awhile. Id imagine a IS300 with a custom turbo but my one true love is the s14. We will see how I feel when it comes time to buy another car.

Ill post some pics of some previous cars later.

I got my first s13 back in november 05 soon after a friend introduced me to them and drifting. Slid that pos around for awhile then my powersteering blew, making it a little difficult to slide in parking lots, and my ghetto fixes didnt work like i wanted and didnt wanna spend like $100 on a new high pressure hose. So after that i started doing some touge runs with a friend of mine on the weekends, then almost nightly. Out of my group of friends, i've been known as the touge man since i was able to leave them behind with that pos. Below is the new-ish zenki s13 i picked up a year ago and have been working on. Will have a SR in it and running by September. I have since sold the pos13 and picked up an old school s30! Threw some knock off rewinds (called Fast Forwards) and sticky all seasons on and called it a day, amazing on the touge but its an oversteer whore. I was able to take the turns i could only take at 65-70 tops, in the pos13, at 80mph. Havent been on the touge since Christmas Eve. I plan on having the zenki s13 done by September so i can run in Time Attack at GT Live at VIR in October, whos gonna be there?

Hello, I just found this forum this morning.

I'm married too so there are no smoking cars in our parking spots, but last summer I got to drive some interesting vintage cars on the exterior set of "Hairspray" in Toronto. There were some "three in the trees" and even push button transmissions to get used to in a hurry.

Some of the cars absolutely purred and some of them had been sitting around awhile so they were kind of dicey.

It was fun and nobody got hurt.

Welcome! That corolla dosent happen to be a AE86 does it? Im excited as can be to hear about the "new development" with Toyota and Fuji Heavy Industries to make a AE86 like car by 2010 for $16k. There has been lots of rumors about it on the interwebs, lets hope they are correct!

My Toyota Corolla is not in the AE86 generation of Toyota Corolla Levin. I've seen the body styles of AE86 Corolla. I'm impressed of all new car models nowadays they really look great.

Sounds good, what kind of system are you putting in place there, and what turbo did you select?

For my first build I went with a kit from Turbonetics. Over the past year or so I've been doing a lot of reading (found several excellent books) and I'm excited about doing future projects where I piece everything together myself.

The turbo is a T04E 50 trim/Stage III .68 A/R ceramic ball bearing turbocharger.

Yeah I have been tight on funds and might be even tighter seeing as how someone did a hit and run on my car in school today. Left rear quarter panel is all sorts of messed up. Oh the surprises we get from driving in a college parking lot.

Hi all, my name is Kenny Combs and I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio I am studying Industrial Deisel Mechanics. I work at a local Huyndai-Acura dealership as the lot tech and will start at a local yard/box truck dealership and service as an entry level technician. I am only 17 and the youngest of my family and friends so naturally when they all got into modding there cars I took interest. I can attribute all my turbo knowledge to the first generation DSMs (one 90 Eclipse GSX, two 90 Tsi awd's and another fwd Tsi). I currently am driving a 95 v6 mustang only because it was given to me at an amazing price by a good friend. My brother and I have an 87 Chrysler Conquest under construction and hope to get it on the road this summer.

Welcome everyone! Lots of zilvians here.

@rip20: I can thank alot of my turbo knowledge to DSM's as well. rjf on this forum (the bean counter) used to have a conquest back in the day I need me a project car again as all the 240s are gone. I am waiting out for the new lightweight RWD "ToySubie" or Nissan. I had an opportunity to buy a 63 or 64 Corvair (rear engine flat 6), the first car to be offered with a turbo trim.

Hello all,

This is my first post here. I am new.

A pretty cool topic for a forum

Well, I have always driven a stick shift car, and will not buy an automatic for myself. Does that qualify as boost-lovin'?

Anyways, it is nice to meet you all. I am looking forward to talking with you on the forum.

Nice meeting you all.
