Default Amateur Racing, Using Your Own Car?

Is there any part of the country where there is car racing for amateurs, using their own cars?

I would be interested in looking into this.
Any of you know about something like this?

Thanks

Yeah you can do Autocross events with your own car as well as Nasa Events on road courses, then there's always drag and drifting too

that is pretty cool. I don't know that I would ever take my new Corolla to an event like this. If I had a beater, I would definitely consider it!

I guess there also many site on other places or countries. If I'm not mistaken, I've heard some tracking site over the mountain of Galunggung, East Java, Indonesia. The site is For amateurs and it has very dangerous track with many turns. Sometimes people go there with their tuning cars and begin the crazy race. It's just not making any sense at all to race in a thin slick road.

People bring their own cars to race once in a while along a coastal road. The races oftentimes are done at night.

In Holland there are several big races a year where people can enter the race with their own car. They use the same track which used to be used for the F1 races.
