I was just thinking, what type of insurance coverage is required for racing cars, especially amateur drivers?
Would a 'normal' company even insure a vehicle that is involved in such activity? |

Auto insurance companies tend to not cover vehicles that are raced, whether legally or not.
For surem you can weekend race your street car and still have it covered, but asking your insurance company to cover damages incurred during a track event would be considered fraudulent, as it's likely to be against the insurance agreement. |
